Roll in the New

RITN-_MD


For this tutorial you will need:
A tube of choice. I am using the art of Verymany
to use this tube you will need to purchase it  from Verymany Tubes here
My Mask 24 here
Beautiful FTU kit called Roll in the New by Scrap in Designs by Peace. here


Put the mask in your masks folder.
Open a transparent canvas 600 x 600 flood fill with white.

Open paper3, copy and paste as a new layer onto the canvas, go to layers, load/save mask, load mask from disk select MD_14_24 in the drop down menu, source luminance checked, fit to canvas checked, hide all mask checked, go to layers, merge, merge group.

Open ele92, copy and paste as a new layer onto the canvas, move to the right, go to layers, duplicate, then image and mirror, back to layers, merge, merge down. change the blend mode of this layer to overlay, apply the same mask with the same settings to this layer.

Open ele81, copy and paste as a new layer, go to image, resize by 85%, resample using bicubic, resize all layers unchecked(use these settings throughout) arrange at the bottom of the clocks.
 
Open ele31, 32, & 36 arrange near the top of the clocks to your liking.
 
Open Frame4 copy and paste as a new layer, go to image, resize by 65%. activate the freehand selection tool, selection type, point to point, mode add feather and smoothing set at 0, draw around the frame as shown in the screen shot below

Open paper1 copy and paste as a new layer, copy and paste your tube as a new layer, fist on the right then erase any tube showing in the left frame, do the same for the left frame, then go to selections, invert then hit delete on your keyboard on both tube layers and the paper layer, back to selections, select none.

With the top tube layer active, go to layers, merge, merge down then back to layers, duplicate, change the blend mode of the duplicate layer to screen, change the blend mode of the original layer tube layer to overlay, make the frame layer active, go to layers, arrange, bring to top. add a drop shadow with these settings, H3, V-3, opacity 56, blur 6, color black(use these settings throughout).

Open ele93, copy and paste as a new layer, go to image, resize by 60%, arrange at the bottom right of the frame, add a drop shadow.

Open ele45 or 46 whichever goes with your tube best, go to image, resize by 80% arrange to your liking, add a drop shadow.

copy and paste your tube of choice as a new layer, resize and arrange to your liking, go to layers, duplicate, change the blend mode of the duplicate layer to screen or soft light, whichever looks best, add a drop shadow to the original layer.

Resize if needed, delete the white background layer, add you name and copyright info. Your done!
